Computers are use in everyday human activities. Application of Computers have became generally including:
Office & General Applications:
This is the use of computers for performing office-oriented activities and general data processing. It constitutes one of the most prominent uses of computers, which has given them widespread acceptance. Some of the office applications are:

2.     Spreadsheet Application
3.     Desktop Publishing
4.     Database Application
Business & Administrative Applications:
Business constitutes a major are for use of computers. This may be due to the fact that the business world is increasingly turning up huge volumes of data which need to be processed much more quickly and accurately.  Some of the business applications include:

3.     Personnel Administration
4.     General Accounting
5.     Sales Management Application
Education:
Computers are being increasingly used in Education as a tool for enhancing the productivity of teachers and school Administrators in such areas as:
1.     Computer Aided Learning/Instruction
2.     School Administration.
Industry:
Computers have found very wide use in industry as industrial process controllers. Most Modern day factory equipment and plants are automated and are controlled by Microprocessors.
Engineering:
The increasing sophistication of computers has brought about a marked increase in their application in the field of Engineering and Technology. Some of the areas of application include:
          Engineering Design & Analysis, Simulation etc.
Artificial Intelligence:
This incorporates the use of computers for performing functions which are generally classified as intelligence-oriented.

Robotics:
This is the application of computers in controlling and directing the activities of machines so that such machine can perform physical activities.

Expert Systems:

 This is the application of computers in performing the role of human experts in various fields.
